Dana Schneider, MFT
Dana Schneider, MA, MFT is a licensed marriage and family therapist and is a Lecturer Emeritus from Sonoma State University. In addition to 34 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents and their families, she has extensive training and experience in the field of divorcing families. She has served as a Special Master for the Sonoma County Courts, and is committed to helping families through even the most difficult divorce processes. She is a member of the Sonoma County Bar Association, Family Law Section. The Sonoma County Bar Association awarded Dana the 2012 Rex Sater Award for Excellence in Family Law and the 2013 Pro-Bono Award.
She is a co-author of a published article in the Journal of Divorce and Remarriage entitled “Children’s Ability to Cope Post Divorce: The Effects of Kids’ Turn Intervention Program on 7-9 Year Olds.
